By putting together five anti-virus tools (Emsisoft, Bitdefender, G Data, IKARUS, and Dr. Web), and combining the result with state-of-the-art cloud scanning technology, VikingPCHealth has built a powerful anti-malware utility capable of detecting viruses, Trojans, worms, etc., that your average anti-virus tool will leave unnoticed.

VikingPCHealth boasts of detecting many more threats than the average anti-virus tool. Actually, it detected no less than 21 threats in my apparently “securely protected” computer. Fortunately, these threats were mainly cookies and obsolete registry entries, which the program got rid of immediately. However, one of those threats was a “serious” one – an executable file that seemed to be infected by some virus. Unfortunately, as it usually happens with the limitations present in most anti-virus trials, VikingPCHealth refused to clean the virus found until I would buy a license, thus making it virtually impossible to check the true program’s ability to get rid of real viruses.

As a threat detector, though, VikingPCHealth is simply amazing. Its scan speed is probably its main asset – it scanned more than half a million files and entries in just over two minutes, including the time it spent checking the trouble present in those 21 files. (In fact, it took just over one minute to scan my drives again once all problems had been solved.) The scan process can be fully customized to fit your needs and preferences, and it can start automatically every time you start up your computer. more
